Mark your calendars for Friday October 17, 2014 for a delightful interactive improv experience with Comedy Sportz.  This is a fundraising event for Hearthstone of Wisconsin, a self-help and advocacy non-profit organization, was founded in Sheboygan in 1995.

HearthStone of Wisconsin, a Sheboygan-based non-profit dedicated to helping people with disabilities, will be hosting an evening of hilarious comedy and fabulous food on Friday October 17, 2014. Festivities begin at 5:30 pm at the Lakeshore Technical School Culinary Institute (712 Riverfront Drive, Sheboygan – formerly City Streets Restaurant).

There will be a fabulous buffet dinner prepared by the talented culinary artists from LTC under the direction of William Gottsacker the accomplished chef/owner of City Streets. Their reputation for inventive, delicious cuisine and outstanding, friendly service guarantees an exceptional dining experience.

Following dinner, Milwaukee’s own internationally known Comedy Sportz will kick off one of their hilarious interactive performances.

Every ComedySportz performance is unique, timely and customized to the audience that evening. One Referee oversees two teams of players who compete against each other in completely spontaneous improvisational games based on the suggestions of the fans watching the match! There are seven to ten games per match, with the occasional willing volunteer joining the field to help the hilarity ensue!

Everything is made up totally on the spot.  Nothing is rehearsed. Players are trained to be quick-witted, funny and compete as hard as they can to make sure the fans in our audience are laughing.

This evening of fun and food will benefit HearthStone of Wisconsin, a non-profit (501c3) which has been serving people with disabilities, their families and caregivers in the Lakeshore area for over 20 years. HearthStone advocates for people with disabilities on a local, state and federal level and has been instrumental in helping hundreds of individuals find employment, residential support, as well as educational and social opportunities. It is a completely volunteer organization and funded through the generous contributions of its’ supporters in the community.

Tickets are just $50/per person for dinner and the show and just $45/per person when securing a table for eight.
