All are invited to the Nourish Good Food Party! Good Food. Good Times. Good Cause. Beautiful event graphics design by Blaine Huber: Email Blast. The party (www.goodfoodparty.org) will be held at Lakeshore Culinary Institute in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on Friday, October 3 from 5pm to 9pm.
To purchase tickets, go to the website or contact Heather Cleveland via email at email@example.com. Tickets are $40 until September 19 and $50 until the event. Sponsorship opportunities that include an eight-top reserved table and promotions are also available (but selling quickly!) http://www.goodfoodparty.org/sponsorship.html.
In addition to a full and beautiful menu, guest chefs will pair up with local farmers along with seasonal, fresh food from each of our partnering farms to create delicious food to be served throughout the evening. The demonstrations will be informative and entertaining!
Milwaukee band Thistledown Thunders, a four-piece bluegrass band, will play throughout the evening, and an open photo booth with fun farming props and photographers will be onsite for you or your group to strike a pose.
Over 2,200 children are at or below the poverty level in the City of Sheboygan. One in four children in Sheboygan County and one in two children in the City of Sheboygan qualify for free or reduced rate hot lunch in our schools. Two-third of adults residing in Sheboygan County are overweight/obese.
Nourish partners with farmers, volunteers and local organizations like the Sheboygan Area School District to provide healthy, fresh, seasonal, and local food and good food education, to include growing, nutrition, and cooking to children in need. Proceeds from the Good Food Party will benefit our community through Nourish programs such as Farm to School and Farm to Table that connect our community with farm fresh experiences.
Look forward to seeing you at the party!
